Woking's M&S store set to close

THIRTY-FIVE people are set to lose their jobs after it was announced on Wednesday that the Marks & Spencer store in Woking's Peacocks shopping centre is due to be closed down.

Following on from the collapse of Woolworths, retailers and shoppers will be shocked to hear that another top High Street name is planning to reduce its presence in Surrey amid the financial crisis.
