Man shot dead by police had imitation gun

AN interim report into the fatal shooting of David Sycamore by police on the steps of Guildford Cathedral has found he had an imitation firearm loaded with blank ammunition.

But the Independent Police Complaints Commission added there was “nothing at this stage to suggest that this gun had been fired during the incident”.
