Family and work tributes to police shooting victim

FAMILY and work colleagues of David Sycamore have paid tribute to him after he was shot dead by police on the steps of Guildford Cathedral.

Mr Sycamore, 39, lived in nearby Southway with his parents and worked as a facilities contractor at Zurich Insurance in Farnborough.

He was confronted by armed officers after being seen in the cathedral area carrying a weapon, now confirmed as having been an imitation gun.
