Talking Point - Post office closures

Proposals have been announced for the closure of 21 post offices across Surrey.

The threatened branches are in both rural and urban locations, but a final decision will not be made until the end of a six-week public consultation period.

The affected places are: Abinger Hammer, Ashford, Bookham, Chertsey, Claygate, Dorking, Effingham Junction, Farnham, Holmbury St Mary, Holmethorpe, Horley, Leatherhead, Merstham, Mickleham, Oxted, South Earlswood, Sunbury, Tilford and Woking.
