Stormy weather in Surrey

Trees were blown down and roads flooded during mid-March storms.

Motorists had to ease their way around a fallen tree in Larch Avenue, Guildford.	A similar problem had to be cleared on Pebble Hill Road, in Betchworth, near Dorking.
A BMW driver got into a spot of bother in East Lane, West Horsley.	And a 4x4 had to rescue a van as the road became impassable.
Phyllis Thacker lost the roof of her mobile home in Pyrford.	A tree came down on a house extension in Claremont Avenue, Woking.
