The Peaslake Players continue their programme of varied and exciting productions at the Memorial Hall in Peaslake with Theft, a comedy thriller by Eric Chappell which runs from Thursday, May 22 to Saturday, May 24. Theft is an English house party play in the Noel Coward tradition, updated for the 21st century and full of clever one-liners and dramatic tension. Classes for people who need to boost their confidence now offer adults of all ages the chance to benefit from the techniques used by actors to enhance their life skills and self-belief. Class Act will be held at Compton Village Hall each Thursday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Sessions include using the spoken word, script work, physical theatre, mime, and progress over three terms to audition, acting and performance skills.
