Performing in his usual grouchy, deadpan style, Rich Hall’s intelligent, passionate humour and pure comic genius have earned him fans around the world. Since leaving his job as a hurricane-namer for the United States Meteorological Service 18 years ago, Hall hasn’t looked back. He has become an Edinburgh Festival favourite, and has won a Perrier Award as well as two Emmys for his writing for The David Letterman Show in America. His alter ego - the redneck jailbird, Otis Lee Crenshaw - has been married seven times, all to women called Brenda, and is a singer-songwriter specialising in bourbon-soaked tunes, which when blended with audience banter create the perfect fusion of music and comedy.
