Surrey County Council has spent an extra £250,000 to keep 24 of them open for longer. The libraries, which will now open at 9am, include ones in Guildford, Epsom, Esher, Haslemere, Redhill and Woking. They will also be open on Wednesday afternoons and until 5pm on Saturdays.
